SAT & ACT Prep
My signature offering. After determining which test is the right fit, I will teach your student the content covered by the test, the test style so they can anticipate how to answer questions, and the cognitive skills they need to maximize their performance. In addition to regular meetings, I will provide weekly homework, monthly progress reports, and practice materials.
Test Anxiety & Test Skills Coaching
Is your student struggling to perform on tests, even though they understand the content? The pressure of tests, especially standardized tests, can create mental blocks for many students. In other cases, they may simply be taking the wrong approach given the conditions of the test. My specialty is identifying and remedying these underlying issues to help students gain the skills and confidence to perform at their best.
Test Prep FAQs
Do you have data measuring student outcomes?
Yes! My data is calculated based on students across all levels of affinity for and commitment to test prep, and the average final score is a 33 on the ACT and a 1460 on the SAT, both of which land at the 98th percentile of test takers. I am currently working on making more detailed statistics available!
How long does the test prep process take?
The average student works on test prep for about 40-60 lesson hours. This is an intensive process that leads to consistent results. Typically those hours are spread over about 7-9 months of active work, excluding long breaks taken for summer holidays, etc. This timeline is often shorter for more advanced students.
What is the weekly time commitment?
I recommend students meet with me for two hours per week: one for reading/english and one for math/science. In addition to this one-on-one work, I typically assign about 3-4 hours of homework per week, but I am very mindful of students’ busy schedules and often adjust this as needed. While this program is recommended for the best results, I am very flexible to work with families on more specific requests, such as meeting only one hour weekly to work on a weaker section.
What are your rates?
My base rate is 310/hour, which can be paid in EUR or USD. Hours may be purchased in packages of 10 or 20 hours, with a 5% discount on the 20 hour package; custom packages are also available. I have some availability to be flexible on rate to accommodate families’ budgets — please ask!
What is your regular availability?
It is important for US-based students to know that, during the school year, I can only meet with them on weekends, in their morning or early afternoon. These slots usually fill up quickly as they are very limited. For students based in Europe or nearby time zones, I have availability on weekday afternoons and evenings.
How are lessons conducted?
All meetings are conducted online via google meet. I have been teaching online since before the pandemic and am skilled at making sure students’ learning is just as enriching as in-person.
Additional offerings
-
If your student needs additional support with schoolwork or to prepare for exams, I am here to help. I teach all levels of Math, Science, English, and Psychology.

I will review your writing and make suggestions both to correct errors and to improve overall clarity and meaning. I do work with college and grad school admissions essays, but do not currently offer in-depth college essay coaching.
Accordingly, for your high school student applying to college, I can help with refining an existing essay, but not with constructing the essay itself.
-
I am available to consult on arts supplements for college applications in dance, visual art, and creative writing. We will create a custom package based on your family’s needs. For dance supplements, I can also provide coaching and choreography for submissions.

For the middle school student preparing for private high school admissions in the US. As with SAT/ACT, I will teach the content, test style, and cognitive skills needed for success on the test and provide weekly homework, monthly progress reports, and practice materials.
